District Advisory Committee
The District Advisory Committee (DAC) serves in an advisory role to support continuous improvement across the district. The committee provides input on the Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) and reviews district goals, actions, and expenditures to ensure they align with student and community needs.
The DAC helps identify and recommend areas of strength and areas needing improvement related to school safety and climate. Members collaborate with district staff to provide input on the Safe School Plan and offer recommendations to the Board of Trustees to support safe, inclusive, and effective learning environments.
In addition, the District Advisory Committee serves as the School Advisory Committee for the purposes of meeting Economic Impact Aid / State Compensatory Education requirements, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines while advocating for equitable resources and supports for students.
